Have you tried the oven trick, and then what about playing from the straight integrated graphics. it wont be nearly as nice but still something?

So, starting a new server is hard, and the most important thing for it to work is good a host... The one we went with so far really didnt work out so now we're moving to a better one: Beastnode. We're going for 2.5gb of ram straight away so it should not lag

This also means that we have to move the map over,,, which might take untill tommorrow

I used beastnode for my own server. It is really a good server host.

I, unfortunately, can't play. Every time I load up tekkit, it goes fine for awhile, then lags horribly, and then ends up in a crash.
